Elle y évoque ses chers disparus, restés si présents en elle. D'abord son père, Daniel, le grand acteur, qui n'a cessé de l'encourager ; sa demi-sœur , Maria Schneider, l'héroïne du Dernier Tango à Paris, film à succès qui a détruit sa vie ; Xavier Gélin, producteur et acteur mort d'un cancer en 1999 ; sa mère aussi… Fiona fait sa première apparition aux côtés de Catherine Deneuve et Omar Sharif, dans Mayerling en 1968. Elle a 5 ans. Elle se remémore ses rôles à la télévision et au théâtre ; les grands du cinéma avec qui elle a tourné, les hommes de sa vie, dont Daniel Hechter ; et les fantasmes qu'elle a suscité (elle a fait rêver bien des hommes en apparaissant court vêtue au cinéma et dans les magazines de charme).
