Les cinémas d'Afrique ont souvent pris le sujet à bras le corps : critique des abus, interrogation culturelle, rétablissement du sacré, donc de l'image. Entretiens avec les cinéastes Mahmoud Ben Mahmoud, Mahama Johnson Traoré, Souleymane Cissé, Ousmane Sembène, Samba Félix Ndiaye, Roger Gnoan M'Bala, Mansour Sora Wade, Flora Gomes, Ababacar Samb-Makharam et Jo Gaye Ramaka.
