Louis-Albert Serrut, auteur et réalisateur, est docteur en sciences de l'Art. Sa thèse, Jean-Luc Godard, cinéaste acousticien. Des emplois et usages de la matière sonore dans ses œuvres, (Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, 2010) a été publiée aux éditions l'Harmattan en 2011. Essayiste, romancier, auteur d'ouvrages et d'articles de philosophie politique, il est à l'initiative de la journée d'étude "Le cinéma de Jean-Luc Godard et la philosophie" organisée dans le cadre du Collège international de philosophie.
