À l'occasion de l'exposition « Eli Lotar » qui se tiendra au Jeu de Paume de février à mai, retour sur le parcours méconnu de ce photographe cinéphile majeur (1905-1969). Un éclairage attendu sur une figure opaque et complexe, pourtant emblématique du surréalisme, du cinéma d'avant-garde et de la Nouvelle Vision. Un livre en réponse au vide éditorial constaté à ce jour : aucun livre n'est paru sur Eli Lotar depuis le catalogue de sa première exposition il y a 23 ans.
