Book Presentation:
Entré avec fracas dans l’imaginaire cinématographique universel, il y a près de 40 ans, à la faveur d’un malentendu ontologique, Sylvester Stallone abandonnera assez vite ses ambitions auteurisantes pour tirer profit et avantages de son statut d’icône brutale, primitive et planétaire.
Bien que l’absence quasi totale de littérature analytique de sa carrière suggère le contraire, il y aurait sans doute beaucoup à dire des invariants de la production du filmmaker Stallone.
On pourra cependant préférer imaginer quelle place ses films – et, tant qu’à entrer dans la sphère de l’intime, les siens propres, ceux qu’il a réalisés – pourraient avoir occupée, de manière plus ou moins prégnante, dans la vie de ceux qui les ont vus.
