Après de brillantes études en art dramatique à Dakar et à Paris, il deviendra le premier directeur de la section dramatique du célèbre théâtre Daniel-Sorano, au Sénégal. Quarante-deux ans après sa mort en 1978, le héros du film Bako est resté dans l'oubli. Cette biographie lève un pan de voile sur cet homme aux multiples talents (peintre, chorégraphe, comédien et acteur), dont l'extraordinaire aventure mérite d'être contée.
