Ces interrogations placent le film sous le signe du fantastique, et il n'est pas possible de trouver, une réponse qui satisferait notre raison. Comment peut-on en toute légitimité, affirmer être un auteur ? Une Histoire Immortelle apporte une réponse. Ce film fait appel aux sens et à la mémoire du spectateur ; ainsi celui-ci devient créateur et, grâce à sa participation, le film, enfin, révèle son auteur.
