Casablanca, film américain de Michael Curtiz, sorti en 1942, est un film mythique. Le cadre : le Maroc, Casablanca, pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. La ville est contrôlée par le gouvernement de Vichy. Humphrey Bogart voit un soir réapparaitre son grand amour, Ingrid Bergman, désormais mariée à un résistant. Un air les unit qui traversera toute l'histoire du cinéma. Marc Augé évoque ce film comme on évoquerait un amour perdu, et au travers de cet amour c'est toute la vie qui s'embrase. Un classique !
