Le Cinéma au Nigéria, l'un des rares cinémas de l'Afrique anglophone, est né grâce aux efforts isolés de quelques pionniers. A peine éclos, il montre déjà des signes d'agonie. L'auteur essaie d'analyser les raisons de cette crise précoce à travers une étude des films, des cinéastes et des structures de l'industrie cinématographique au Nigéria.
About the Author:
Françoise Balogun, de nationalité française vit au Nigéria depuis 1968. Elle a enseigné le français successivement à l'université d'Ife, puis à l'université de Lagos, tout en participant comme productrice déléguée et script-girl à la plupart des tournages d'Ola Balogun, son époux.
