« Protéger le film français contre l'envahissement du film américain » n'est pas un avatar de la guerre froide comme semblent encore le considérer quelques cinéphiles. Dès 1925, les producteurs de films français s'inquiètent du déséquilibre croissant entre importation massive de films américains et exportation de quelques films produits en France…
