Book Presentation:
Toddi commença à s'intéresser à l'art cinématographique au cours des années 10, et d'une manière très particulière : en dessinant des affiches. Sa manière, schématique et légèrement caricaturale, rappelle un peu les esquisses agiles qui caractérisent un de ses collègues, Sergio Tofano, lequel créait les vignettes de Bonaventura pour Il corriere del Piccoli et était devenu également un habile dessinateur du mode.
