Après le chef-d'œuvre de Stanley Kubrick et le premier film de David Fincher, notre petite collection s'agrandit... Place, cette fois-ci, à la genèse mouvementée de Last Action Hero, le classique méta de John McTiernan. De son écriture à son tournage houleux, dirigé par un cinéaste jamais aussi bon que lorsqu’il a une deadline impossible à respecter, la conception de ce film d’action a été au moins aussi tourmentée que la sortie du film lui-même (jadis boudé, désormais l’objet d’un culte discret, mais vivace). Alors, rangez les flingues, coincez le cigare entre vos dents et appuyez sur play.
