Ce superbe hors-série comprend essentiellement des photos, couleurs et parfois noir et blanc (principalement du tournage mais aussi de Giger au travail) et de nombreuses illustrations (dessins et croquis de Chris Foss, Ron Cobb et Moebius).
Côté textes : Editorial de Jean-Pierre Dionnet, suivi de “Histoire d’Alien” de Paul Scanlon et Michael Gross. Egalement, deux interventions de Ron Cobb et Giger.
