Princesse des nuits décadentes de La doche vita, superstar warholienne et modèle de films expérimentaux de Philippe Garrel, elle interprète avec le Velvet Underground des classiques du rock comme "Femme Fatale" et "All Tomorrow Parties". Par ailleurs auteur d'albums composés avec son harmonium entre folklore et avant-garde, Nico chante dans les théâtres antiques comme dans les clubs les plus sordides, repoussant les limites du genre en mêlant lyrisme et expérimentation linguistiques.
