Book Presentation:
Face à une résurgence de la comédie en France mais aussi en Grande-Bretagne, il était nécessaire de s'interroger sur ce qui pouvait provoquer le rire chez le spectateur, d'un point de vue historique et analytique. Mais que l'on ne s'y trompe pas, le comique est toujours une affaire de sérieux ! Et cet ouvrage est un hommage rendu à un genre longtemps considéré comme mineur.
