Les trois premiers volumes des Écrits cinématographiques ont regroupé l'ensemble des textes de Louis Delluc sur le cinéma. Il restait à faire place à la part importante de son œuvre écrite dont le cinéma a été, non plus l'objet, mais la destination. C'est le propos de ce dernier volume, où sont rassemblés les scénarios dont il est l'auteur, qu'ils aient été ou non réalisés effectivement. Il s'agit de faire connaître le plus complètement possible le travail de Delluc pour le cinéma(...).
