About the authors:
Robert Bresson réalise son premier long métrage, Les Anges du péché, en 1943. Ses films, Journal d'un curé de campagne (1951), Un condamné à mort s'est échappé (1956) et Pickpocket (1959), imposent son œuvre internationalement. En 1983, il obtient le Grand Prix du cinéma de création au Festival de Cannes pour son dernier film, L'Argent.
