Drew Struzan a travaillé tel un magicien pendant plus de quarante ans, créant à travers l'art de l'affiche de film quelques-unes des plus importantes images historiques et iconographiques de ce milieu. Il est le témoin de l'avènement de l'affiche, passée de l'ignominie d'une simple publicité au statut d'œuvre d'art recherchée... et il a aussi pu observer le délabrement de cet objet revenu de nos jours à sa forme initiale de simple outil de marketing.
