Christophe Pellet explore, dans ce nouveau texte vivifiant, son monde contemplatif : tel un patient, il en décrit au plus près les effets, les symptômes sur son corps et dans son âme. Il convoque Sade, Hugo, Pessoa, Bachelard, et confronte contemplation et action, qui sont indissociables de sa pratique d écrivain : siœuvre il y a, elle n existe que par le désœuvrement, désœuvrement fondamental dont elle est née. La contemplation devient alors, dans ce retrait hors du « vivre ensemble », une force revendicatrice. Et subversive.
