Browsing the site without being logged in:
No advertisements are displayed. No advertising cookies are set or used. The site uses only technical cookies: when displaying a list of books, a cookie is created to store the list so that the visitor can move on to the next book with the "Next book" icon. The other cookies are linked to the server load balancer: the site can be served by several servers in parallel, the cookie allows a visitor to be served by the same server during their navigation in order to speed up the delivery of pages. The servers are located in France, managed by OVH.
No personal data is used or stored; the statistics system is anonymized and does not use personal data. No other external cookies, third-party cookies, or external advertisements are displayed, and no client-side code is executed when pages are loaded (except for layout adjustments to fit the screen width). The "Buy at..." links do not contain any code that executes upon display.

By logging in (clicking "Log in"), you can create personal book lists—such as wishlists, a library inventory, etc. In this case, your chosen username and email address will be stored alongside the book lists you create. No other personal data will be requested. If you select "Remember me" when logging in, a cookie will be created to enable automatic login on future visits. This cookie is purely technical; it contains no personal data, only a very long password string. The system can function without it. No statistics are generated based on logins.
The email address used to create your account will under no circumstances be shared with third parties. It will never be displayed on the site (except to you), even if you choose to make your list public. This email address serves solely to secure your account. Apart from this email address, no personal data is requested or stored. Neither your email address nor the book lists you create will be shared with third parties or used for any purpose whatsoever.
To delete your account and erase all your lists and your username, please send a request to contact@livres-cinema.info after logging in.
