Book Presentation:
Il s'agit d'identifier quand, au cinéma, un désir mal placé se cogne contre le réel. Ce réel étant désigné par un sentiment d'étrangeté qui va se construire sur la base d'un silence soudain et non localisable dans l'image. Le désir sera décliné ici selon trois modalités : l'amour romantique, le fantasme érotique et le repli narcissique. Tout en comparant chaque fois un film des années 1960 et sa réponse par un cinéaste des années 2000 reprenant la même structure de mise en scène.
