En octobre 1987, Lino Ventura disparaissait brutalement. Dans l'esprit de centaines et des milliers de cinéphiles de par le monde, on avait le sentiment qu'avec la mort brutale de cet acteur hors norme, rien ne serait plus comme avant. Et effectivement rien ne fut plus comme avant. Un géant du cinéma, irremplaçable, venait de quitter ce monde. Et Lino Ventura ne fut jamais remplacé. Près de trente années après son décès brutal, il subsiste toujours un vide immense dans le cinéma français... Un premier film l'avait particulièrement touché. Le film Touchez pas au grisbi marque les débuts prometteurs au cinéma d'un ancien lutteur.
