Cette biographie raconte l'acteur, venu au cinéma par hasard, mais aussi l'homme exceptionnel qu'était Ventura. L'histoire d'un enfant déraciné de son Italie natale et qui a exercé tous les métiers : groom, mécanicien et même lutteur professionnel. De cette jeunesse pas vraiment rose, il a gardé la volonté de prendre une revanche sur la vie. Lino était un homme d'honneur, un roc au cœur tendre dont la simplicité et la générosité ont su conquérir le public. Un homme passionné devenu une figure emblématique du septième art.
