Book Presentation:
Mouchette conte le calvaire en milieu rural d'une adolescente misérable qui, ayant perdu sa mère après avoir été violée par un braconnier, se suicide. Il ne s'agit pas, comme dans le roman de Bernanos qui l'inspira, de complainte apitoyée. Ce n'est pas davantage un plaidoyer contre le viol, ni même une enquête psychosociologique qui ferait sa part à la complexité mais un poème dédié à la grandeur de l'âme humaine.
