Ce travail procède d'une volonté de rupture avec le consensus du cinéma divertissement et le réductionnisme rationalisant de l'approche savante. Si cinéma artistique et commerce ont pu coexister, la fonction du cinéma qui répond aux besoins du public est essentiellement idéologique, voire falsificatrice. Cet essai tente d'opérer une révolution qui soit à la mesure de la place fondamentale de l'art dans l'aventure humaine.
