Qu'en est-il des quelques six cent films réalisés en France de 1936 à 1944 ? Loin d'avoir été suiviste, ce cinéma français a faussé compagnie aux courants d'opinions dominants : hostile au Front populaire, il fut réfractaire eu vichysme. Un contre-éclairage surprenant, preuves à l'appui.
