Un père et ses deux filles quittent la ville pour s'installer dans une nouvelle maison à la campagne, afin de se rapprocher de l'hôpital où est soignée leur épouse et mère. Satsuki est en 6e et Mei, sa petite sœur , est encore à l'école maternelle. C'est cette dernière qui, lors d'une de ses explorations autour de la maison, tombe nez à nez avec Totoro, une créature poilue, intrigante et immensément... attachante ! Auprès de lui et ses étranges amis, Mei et Satsuki vont découvrir un monde poétique, en harmonie avec la nature. À l'occasion de la nouvelle diffusion dans les salles du film Mon voisin Totoro, P'tit Glénat propose au jeune public une adaptation illustrée du chef-dœuvre d'Hayao Miyazaki, sorti au Japon en 1988 et diffusé en France seulement en 1999. Un petit bijou d'humanisme, de tendresse et d'écologie, dont toutes les générations tomberont amoureuses ! Une lecture incontournable !
