Boorman, un visionnaire en son temps, est la clef indispensable pour découvrir ce qui lie l'épopée arthurienne d'Excalibur, l'histoire du gangster anarchiste irlandais Martin Cahill dans Le Général et l'expédition initiatique dans les Appalaches de Délivrance. Cette monographie rejoint l'autobiographie et le premier roman de John Boorman, déjà publiés chez Marest Éditeur.
