Cet excitant thriller métaphysique met en scène un violoncelliste catapulté dans une sorte de ville-limbes, variante délirante de la réalité. Démesuré et coûteux, le film ne verra jamais le jour et restera son grand regret... De rares traces subsistent néanmoins, dont ce synopsis magnifique, dans lequel on retrouve tout le génie du réalisateur.
