Une foule étrange, tranquille, ordonnée, silencieuse : le père et la mère, le Cardinal et la Saraghina, Claudia et Carla, les femmes du harem et Carini, le fakir, les télépathes et Mezzabotta, tous les personnages de la vie de Guido, tous unis dans le même voyage vers la même destination, personne qui puisse être refusé ou renié, tous souriant tranquillement vers Guido comme de bons compagnons.
