Les quatre années d'Occupation sont pour le dessin animé français une période de tergiversations politiques : à quoi sert-il de réaliser des dessins animés sous l'Occupation ? La finalité est-elle la même pour tous ou y a-t-il des conflits d'intérêts entre l'occupant allemand et les autorités de Vichy ? Cet ouvrage propose de voir comment s'organise la nouvelle politique de Vichy en matière de dessins animés mais également comment se structure cette nouvelle industrie, mise en avant de manière inédite.
